Otto's Magic Blocks is a simple but cute game in which you must turn all blocks into your color before the time is up. Every level offers a different board with more obstacles and enemies to avoid. Some of the enemies will only try to harm you (if you touch them you lose a life), while others will also turn the blocks into other colors, making your task even more difficult. You will also have to be very careful not to fall from the board or into holes that the board may have, or you will lose a life too. Your character can be moved using the keyboard keys or mouse, and you can jump by one or two blocks. From time to time, several power-ups and bonuses will appear on the board, which you can catch by jumping over them. They only last a few seconds on the board, so you'll have to hurry if you want to catch them. You have three lives per game, but if you lose the game, you can continue playing from where you left off, but your score will be reset. The game offers different difficulty levels to play, including Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard. What is more, the game features lovely colorful graphics, with really cute characters, but it also has a repetitive and annoying music. Sounds are also a bit annoying, but fortunately, both can be disabled from the main menu.
In short, Otto's Magic Blocks is a lovely and addictive game that looks simple, but offers a great deal of challenge, especially when you progress, and it really deserves a try.
